Won't have the bike here until the end of the month when our stuff gets moved. Typically putt around the country roads. Typically do day rides once a month or so.

    Guys,
keep me in your loop. My mother-in-law lives In Monticello. I get up that way often with my klr 650. I have found some dirt and gravel up there, nothing substantial, but fun.

Live in Tolono, I do alot of putting around country roads as well.

I am a regular at the first tuesday of the month ride out near the savoy theater. (WHICH IS Tomorrow around 6pm) I will be there on KLR with a Trans Alp friend or two.

If the invite is open, i would like to ride sunday. i have a fun ride that has dirt lane, gravel, "curvy" ways, hills and other interesting aspects.

Sounds great. Only problem. This weekend is the Falling Leaf Rally in Potosi, MO. If you haven't been, it is a must. We must get together one weekend as I am curious what roads you are speaking of..

Yep, I'm a regular there. We'll have to ride Sunday, invite open to anyone else as well.
In fact everyone should come out tomorrow night. It's at 6pm down by the Savoy Theaters.

And I would be going to the Falling Leaf, but I have to work Saturdays.

a few months ago yes. You must have been the guy with the 08 that finalized my decision. Thought you were from the springfieldish area though.

I moved here from Chatham. Trans alp friend is from lincoln, BMW friend is from chatham. Both ride over each month and most of the time we meet up someplace.

I am up for a ride on sunday. Couple here seem interested. I have an 80 mile round trip that does have a little double track, gravel, "twisty" roads as well as a little known historic site as well as a wildlife area. Would gladly share the ride with all interested.

Post or email if you want to ride.
