It'’s that time again - our 15th wedding anniversary and more testing of the marriage vows with some 2up dirt. :evil
BigWan and I had survived the Summer of Stupid, and now we wanted more.

    53 days on the road
    8400+ miles
    8 states, plus Canada
    4.5 sets of knobbies
3 safety cones abandoned along the trail

along with a couple of flats, some get-offs, and maybe a crash or 2...

I suck at maps, so until I get one together, here’'s a laundry list of some of the stuff we did.
It should help you decide if you want to waste time reading this thing or not...

November 2015 - edited to add some Clickable links (you may have to scroll down the page)

Nevada to Torrey, UT mostly offroad
    Capitol Reef/Cathedral Valley

From the TAT - Black Dragon Wash/Eagle Canyon/Devil's Canyon/Cat Canyon
    Skyline Drive (utah)
The entire Utah Backcountry Discovery Route (including Lockhart Basin/Hurrah Pass and a stab at the Porcupine Rim trail)
    Yellowstone National Park
The KLIM Adventure Summit (including Idaho single track, Jimmy Lewis, the slow challenge, and a whole lot of ADV inmates)
Idaho (including the Magruder Corridor and the Lolo Motorway)
British Columbia backroads (including some KVR/Trans Canada Trail and 2 days of Mad Radek'’s Canadian Lunacy Tour)
    The Washington Backcountry Discovery Route
most of The Oregon Backcountry Discovery Route (including an awesome snow-less ride up Crane Mountain)
finishing up with a small taste of the Pacific Crest Quest (Gold Lake and Sierra Buttes)

here’'s a little sample of what to expect...

I took over 6000 photos, plus we have hours of video to pull from.
    Whew.
This is going to be a long one...

After almost 8 weeks on the trail, it'’s a little tough to re-assimilate.
Living in the forest has turned us into savages.
It'’s hard enough to get used to all the people and noise, but having to use a hairbrush (no more, "“my helmet will fix that"”),
wear clean clothing, and pay attention to grooming really sucks.

I'll do my best to sit in front of this stupid box and write out the report...
But what I really want to do is get back outside. :cry

Wan's you guys ROCK!!:thumb I can not wait to read through this thread. I need a job that will let me hit the trail, although my wife and son would not be on board. This couldn't have come at a better time for me because I still have about a month of recovery from my broken leg (not bike related) and have been super bored.:clap
