    Thanks 3 legs.
    Thanks Ben at Antique tyres.
Sure looks more aggressive than the road tyre on it at the moment.

    Now - trip planning....

Excellent Ray. Give us a review as soon as you can. I won't be trying mine until the OCR. Hopefully will have mine early next week.

Mine's arrived, but I missed delivery 'cause I was at work, so they are dropping it off again today. Pity I won't be using it. I need to see how long the new Heidenau rear goes first, and then may do a rear wheel conversion if it's needed. Still not sure about that. I hope someone comes up with a decent wheel and adapter here in Aus, otherwise I'll buy from overseas.

Maybe you could follow what LeighSA is doing?

Some pic, Leigh. Or do I have to come over to do that for you?
You know - you make the story, I'll just report it. Then everyone thinks it's all mine.:clap

Now, since when have you known me to be 'sorted out'?

You know very well that I'll have it tossing around in my head, every now and then (maybe I need to make a list, or should that be a note?) at the last second, which comes at the end of the 11th hour, I'll do the headless chook thing then just manage to scrape through. One day I'll get caught out, sure as bears are catholics and the pope shits in the woods.

In any event - we need photos, Leigh. You can take them, send them to me & I'll smug em and post em here, if that's what it takes.

Got mine today. Looks the goods. Sorry Bulli, I'm not going to the Border run. It's going to take me long enough to get to the OCR without having to go there first (yes I know I'm a woose:lol3).

He'll fill in the details whenhegetsaroundtuit.

Good work Ian. Bloody hell you can really see the difference compared to the front wheel. Hopefully they will last at least 10000 km, that will at least make them worth the wait.

Won't be trying mine until the OCR.

Any comments on these tyres on dirt roads. I'm heading out through SW Qld in August then down through Birdsville, Innamincka etc with couple of blokes on solos. The "Plan" is to follow the Diamantina River.
Options are to either use a BMW wheel with a knobby tyre or the 15" so I'm after opinions on them in sand, and mud, and rocks....

    G'day Darki

Give Ben at Antique tyres a ring. I'm not sure if he has any left but no harm in asking. Tell him you are from the ADVRIDER site and he will know what you are talking about.

Depending on how the others like the tyre and how long they last we may do another bulk order at a later date but I doubt it will be in the next 6 months.

    I've put mine on.
Heading off in the morning for SA and it's been raining constantly around here all day.

Will be giving Trek a bit of a mixed workout. Bitumen, gravel, some sand and I expect some mud - particularly in the forest between Tocumwal & Deniliquin. Bit sandy further west. All joined by that hard black stuff.

Starting out with 30psi in it.

The bloke that fitted did comment that it has very soft sidewalls.

    Watch this space, amongst others.

Oh yeah. It starts with 9mm tread depth.

Edit: Don't expect the assessment any time soon. I had to cancel my trip at the 11th hour. Bike was ready, I was keen as, weather was improving. But shit sometimes happens. Now I need to find somewher to ride it to at least give it a test run.
