anybody use fork oil instead of Magura mineral oil in their KTM clutch? does it work?... is it ok on the seals?....
I've heard of it and vaguely recall it was 5W. I use synthetic ATF fluid in my 950, 640, and did use it in my 520. Haven't used it yet in my 400XC but will give it a try.
I don't know about fork oil. I have seen a friend of mine use baby oil in his KTM when his clutch sprung a leak in Baja. As far as I know it's still in there years later. And his bike smells nice (525EXC).
Be advised that some KTM clutches use oil and some use brake fluid. If yours uses oil just about any oil will work but if it calls for brake fluid then you must use that. Always check the cap on the master cyl. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
why not just go down to Walgreens and buy some mineral oil? http://www.walgreens.com/store/c/walgreens-mineral-oil-intestinal-lubricant/ID=prod5593964-product
