Indiana Snailfest 2015! TW and small bike gathering May 1st and 2nd. at LCRP

What: Snailfest 2015!
When: May 1st and 2nd 2015
Where: LCRP (Lawrence County Recreational Park), Springville Indiana
Why: Because they have 60 miles of offroad trails!


I know there are plenty of us who own TWs within an easy drive of the park and a couple close enough to ride. Let's get together and flog them without mercy.

TW's, BigWheels, CT's etc. (Any bikes are welcome of course.)

Come Friday, come Saturday, or camp Friday night and ride both days.
(Complementary bacon and egg breakfast for the first ten people that sign up to camp)

Please post if you plan on coming.

LCRP is 400 acres of hills, meadows and forest with over 60 miles of trails reserved for motorcycles and ATVs only. It is located about 16 miles SSW of Bloomington IN.



There is plenty of good food and evening entertainment right up the road in Bloomington.


Park entry fee $10 for ABATE members and $15 for non members.
Primitive camping $15.
RV camping $25 with water and electricity.
Helmet required in the park.

Sounds like my kind of low ego high fun event, count me in. Hope to camp after work Friday and ride Saturday. I plan on being on my TW.

A couple of low-key guys from work are planning on showing up Saturday.

I've got it marked on my calender and definitely plan to be there. I'll plan to get there Friday sometime depending on work. I'll probably camp even though I only live a few miles from there

I look forward to meeting you. I gotta say, I'm excited about the idea being able ride the little TW on fresh trail until I get too tired to ride anymore.

we ran the singletrack that day but there is also atv trails. there is really nothing to hard at lcrp so you guys should have a ball on the tw's.

It's almost time. One two weeks to go!!

Looking like a small but good group of guys so far. If anyone has a little firewood to bring, that would be great.

I'll have my Coleman stove and basic cookware for anybody camping out to use.

If the weather holds out me and a buddy will be coming down Saturday morning with TW's. Whats the plans? Mostly riding in the park?

Yeah, plan to stay in the park. Since the office opens at 9:00, just look us in the camping area after you sign in. We'll give it a little bit to see who's going to show up and then head off.

I plan to ride 'til either the TW or I can't go anymore...

I've got a question about camping at LCRP. I'm gonna try and make it up Friday night if I can get the new little bike ready. However, I'm on night shift this week and may not be able to get there before the office closes at 5pm. Is there any way to get in after 5pm? I'll be sharing a campsite with my brother, gnsrfn, if I can make it. Otherwise I may just have to come in when the park opens Saturday morning.

I'll call them tomorrow and check what they normally do. I'm sure there's a way.
