yes would be for the '95. the stockers are pretty narrow and made of steel. I am putzing around with a set of KTM pegs now to see if I can get them to fit. If it works out I would have a set of stock pegs for you to look at.
DO these extenders work with the PIVOT Pegs for the SE? What aare they made of ? They look aluminum , and if so wouldn,t the grips wear off fast? Signed: Look'n to Demo
CJ, What's the overall length? I really want/NEED a wider peg but the other ones out there seem too long for some of the trails (firecuts) I ride. I worry about catching them. I stood on some long-pegs at the KTM event last year, it might have even been on your bike, and they felt too wide. Say I want a certain length, could that be done? PIVET PEGS: This version does not, but a different version in the future may be offered that will. Are SE pivot pegs different than ADV pivot Pegs? This version is just for parts numbers given in the first post. I kept them all one piece Aluminum as to not bring up any Patent issues and to make manufacturing easier and overall cost down. W/ some pegs you stick to the pegs so well it chews the soles of your boots up. I put on 15,000-20,000 miles a year. I wanted something that would be more boot friendly. I think I'd need new soles every 3-4 months otherwise. Good boots cost more than these extension. I guess we'll see what the testers think of them and go from there. Thanks, cj
It looks real good man! I notice alot of requests for different types of pegs, and I was going to do the same. I was wondering if it would be easy to make some that worked with FastWays. If not I may just have to put the stocks back on, and get your exstentions. But I love the half inch drop down I can get out of the FastWays. Plus It seems that FastWay has been the main choice for after market pegs on all different brands of bikes, so it could be a good seller.
Hi Skip, These are 1.64" longer than stock and the new width is 2.5". I don't have a length on the bike though. I just got these back.... I didn't go any wider b/c I don't want a "floorboard". This still works well for rocking back and forth IMO. This length looked good for me on paper and standing on them in the shop and on the trails, but that is where the testing comes in. Rounded corners to keep them from getting caught on stuff. I didn't have these on at the Rally last year, just made them this winter. I'll have them at this year's Rally though. How long do you want? I'll look into it, I'm sure I could do it. Maybe I'll offer a size 14+ peg length and a 14- peg.
Thanks, I've never ridden w/ a set of Fastways, a taller seat and bar risers keep my feet up as high as possible. The extra drop is a big plus in those, I'll see what I can do. Next time I'm at the MC shop I'll see if they have a set to look at. One thing, as you go wider the easier it is to scrape the pegs in corners, going lower adds to the problem too. Once you grind off your one piece steel units, your stuck buying another set. W/ these, if you wear them out/grind them down you could swap on a new set to the existing pegs. That's all I have for now.
Yea, I meant that they were the other wide ones, I forget the inmates name that makes them, pieced together stockers. I just remember sitting on someones bike in WV and thought it was yours. I'll let you know about length in a few days. Have to go do some measurements. Skip
I've gone through all the PM's and emails. I only have enough stock for 10 sets. I'll PM those that made the cut. I'll need to know what version you want. Only fair way to do it is by the time that you PMed or replied to the thread. I have no set price as I have not started to cut material yet. One request was for some pics of the pegs folded up to see the clearance. The brake side that other wide pegs stop short on. This side may need a bit more cut off, for a prototype it was close on the first try. Hope that helps. Next order of business. I think I'll make 3 different lengths. Different riders/ Different requirements. Overall Length measurement is from the inside part of the peg where the teeth start. Small MX pegs (MX/SM) -single row off teeth. OAL 3.5" Standard (trail/road) -Similar the the original pictured, just shorter. OAL 4"-4.25" Long (trail/touring) Same as original pictured. OAL 4.875" The length that shows the least amount of interest may get dropped in the future. I hope to get these started this weekend. These first 10 will all be made of 6061 Alum. and not anodized to get them out ASAP. If you are on the list and do not want a set, Please let me know so I can let the next in line have a chance. More details will be sent in the PMS shortly. One set per person for now. Once the design/ size is proven, I'll work on the material choice. Thank you, CJ

TEST pegs are 90% done and will we be shipped out on Thurs. I will wait for input back on those before I make more. When these are ready for sale I'll post a price and options. I'll also update the first post. I've done my best to get everyone that has shown interest written down, so my next order of material will have enough for those on the list.
