Ha. I was just thinking that Kaw had an F800 sitting in his garage. trying to figure out how it gets much better than that...

Big enough to pound down some big miles but small enough to be a hoot on all but the tightest trails (and pick up when you eventually drop it). Ohhh right, I can't afford one. OK, there is that I guess :norton

Sounds a lot like a KTM Super Enduro, except the Super Enduro does it much faster.

If I KNEW is could get a 990R to replace it, I would get rid of both BMW's. The 800 is a great bike, just down on power. Came close to trading the 1200 for a 990R, but that would be irrational. Who me?

    Funny you should say that.

I've got the tracking spreadsheet done (link in my sig line), with all of the prior uses of Historical Markers in the NH and NNE TORs recorded. Lots of folks will have already participated in this new TOR without even knowing it. :deal

Later this week I'll start the new thread, lay out the rules, and put up the first (new) tag.

Personally, I wouldn't worry about whether or not they were used in another game. That happens in the NNE game occasionally. Who cares?:1drink

I'm just hoping you allow file photos as I have a ton of these collected. Great winter game indeed.:lol3

Excellent idea. That 950 seat should easily cure your comfort woes of the 1200.:deal

You're not listening, 800 = Great Bike (same type seat as 990).

1200 is a walrus out of water.

990R is gonna be parked in the garage before this is over.

The closest thing to a do it all bike I've ever ridden.

Only reason I can think to justify owning one of those pigs is to run for parts for the KTM.

Yah but not lately. Preparing for vacation then vacation and now oodles of work. I'm lucky to ride the Ural to the transfer station.

If I did ride I would be on the KTM 640 Adventure. Sweet bike with versatility on and off road. :deal
