Not too sure if this is gonna work???

But anyway, on the off chance that this does, this is my R1200 GS with some pretty cool add-on's and modifications!

    Mods:

Matched Black Sapphire paint on aluminum tank plates to make bike a real Triple Black (don't what else to call those?)
Warn HID lights w/ PIAA harness/switch (because it was the best I could find)
    PIAA Light Bar
    Wunderlich shifter
    " "GPS Mount
    " "Kick Stand plate
" " Folding Handle (to aid getting bike on/off center stand...no necessary, oh well!)
" " Vario Levers (sorry, no pic, but probably one of the best mods on the bike!)
    Pivot Pegz MK3
    Altridrer Crash Bars
    Altrider Oil Cooler protector
    Sargent Seat, custom colors
Modified Pelican Case with "GSessorories" Mounting plate (very cool way to carry photo gear!)
    Kreiga Bags
"Grip Puppies" foam grip covers (I have to admit these were the best 10 bucks i've spent here)

Your posts all link to local files on your harddrive and are not on the web so no one can see them. You should upload them to smugmug or some other image hosting service service.

Nice looking bike. It'd be a shame to get it dirty. I guess that's why I don't upgrade mine?

I like the look of those pegs a lot. Didn't know pivot pegz came in black. I've been meaning to get some pivot pegz soon.

Those are the (just released) covers for the MK3's.

I found the teeth to be so sharp that they made it really hard to simply shift your foot around on the peg. These covers help a ton, and can be removed for off road if needed.

Thanks for the complement, I'm really happy with the way the way the job turned out....but I dont want to see any more wet sanding for a while!

As far as the paint is concerned, you can get a perfect BMW color match from these guys. http://www.colorrite.com/

For the clear coat (apply at least 4 coats, as you will be doing some serious wet sanding to get a perfect finish) I recommend getting your hands on some SprayMax 2K Urethane Aerosol Clear Coat! It was by far the best product for the job (read the directions!), just make sure you also invest in a 3M respirator mask. This stuff is seriously toxic, and will make you feel very dizzy if you don't protect yourself!

Both the paint and the clear coat were basic spray cans, so you don't need any special painting gear to do the job.

The best advice I can share, is to take your time and don't rush the process. From beginning to end this project took over a week to complete because I wanted to make sure the paint and subsequent layers of clear coat were fully cured before going through the wet sanding and buffing process. I recommend doing some of the initial buffing by hand, and then going with a non-orbital buffer for the last few layers of rubbing compound and polish.

I also recommend waiting a few additional weeks for final sealer and wax, as the paint/clear fumes will continue to release for a while, and you don't want those fumes to be locked in.

    Good luck!
