    I don't know how I missed this ride report but I found it reading another post concerning Ural reliability. Thanks for taking the time to write the report and to post photos. Someday perhaps I'll succeed in talking Ilya into taking me to the factory in Irbit, this is something that I really want to do. I am glad to hear that I played a part in your decision to buy a Ural I hope you have as much fun with yours as I do with mine. Please continue to post ride reports and photos from your country.

    Dear god you're one lucky man!

    My father always wanted one of these, he even named a cat after it (and I think when I'm older I'll get one of these bikes) but never made a step foward to buy one.

    i'm curious, i am quite familiar with russian bikes, why the ural gear up, which has its quality issues despite recent building, and not a dnepr MB?
