Had my first (semi) long distance solo ride last weekend. Took the little EX500 from Oklahoma city to the Ozark pig trail in arkansas. I was suprised at how comfortable and capable this little bike was on highway, dirt roads and twisty rollercoaster scenic road. Packed a backpack, tank bag, and tail bag and was able to carry supplies to camp out for a night in the Ozarks before heading back. Seems pretty tame I know, but bieng a n00b at the long distance thing (plus not having a vacation in a long time) it was pretty exhilerating. I'll be heading to Mt. Scott in the Witchita "mountains" next weekend.
I'll be loading the pics up as soon as I get the camera developed (fun saver) and have a digi disc made. Thanks man.
