Any time that works for you, works for me. Around lunchtime would be fine as well.

    Josh,
Wish I had internet access last night in Cisco....where I unloaded the family in the pouring rain. Drove through Ft. Worth/Dallas this am. Its really no fun on the slab doing the cannonball run from San Diego to Tampa.:baldy Cisco to Biloxi today via Shreveport. Lots of trucks on the Texas highways!!:eek2
I imagine its no fun on a moto. With 18 wheelers on your ass.

Good luck getting on the road on Wednesday.

    Ride Safe.

Hiya Josh! Glad to see you're about ready to hit the road again.

I don't mean to freak ya out, but I thought about your continuing trip a few days ago reading the local paper.

I remember some talk on this thread about the importance of keeping your food out of your tent in bear country.

There was a black bear attack in Utah where an 11 y/o boy was killed while camping on father's day.

    http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/19299279/

According to the article, bears are hungrier than usual. A heathly bit of respect should be given and all the precautions. I know I'll be a little more vigilant with my food and cooking on this weekend's camping ride.

Just wanted to give you a heads-up and if you wanted to turn the tables..bear burgers are excellent!

I think our friend Willie Nelson said it best in song:

    On the road again
Just can't wait for Josh to get on the road again
The life he loves is making photos and new friends
And I can't wait for Josh to get on the road again.

    On the road again
Goin' places that he's never been
Seein' things that he may never see again
And I can't wait for Josh to get on the road again.

Ride report withdrawals do strange things to a working stiff like me.

I think I can hold out for one more day, maybe.

Good luck Josh and I can't wait for you to get on the road again.:clap

:eek1 If a bear kills you this weekend could you be sure to let us know? We'll want Josh to be prepared. On the other hand if you're having a party and serving bear burgers let us know that too and set us all a place.

Bear attacks... Shark attacks... It happens, but is mostly over hyped by the media. I was reading yesterday that more people are killed by sand holes and tunnels dug on beaches for fun, that by sharks. And... if I remember correctly, more people are killed by sharks than bears in the US. So Kaneman it sounds like your main concern is getting your ass back on the road b4 an angry ADV mob shows up at your door... :lol3

    Enjoy the ride,
    Brian
