Headed out of town mid-April. Have a few days to hit Huntsville, AL. Not really interested in stops, more interested in fun roads that allow me to stay off 81 and 75.Since this trip is lightly packed and planned, I will probably "hotel" it, as opposed to camping. Riding a ZRX1200. Ideas welcomed.
So, 211 from Warrenton to New Market isn't bad. And in SW Virginia Rt 16 from Marion to Tazewell is nice. Might get some ideas here: http://www.motorcycleroads.com/ Have fun -Glen

Head due West out of DC until you get to West Virginia. Turn South West and pick the squiggly roads. Ride the Blue Ridge Parkway if you must, but there are better paths. Really hard to make bad choices in that neck of the woods.
