Do you know what and where is Quintay.
It s a little Chilean coastal village.
Today (may 12) is a especial day for my wife. So, we decided to ride our Honda Transalp, and reach this place.
So now, let me share with you some pics and words of this trip.
We left Viña del Mar , it was cloudy but warm, or at least not cold.

we rode the coastal range, that means the road was plenty of curves , ups and down.

here our Transalp and my wife Flor

As Quintay was ever a fishing village , we found at our arrival a fish boat

    In here Quintay Bay

unlikely , in the past there was a whale industry. Today there is only some of the building
    [IMG]

And there is 2 kms away a beatiful beach, where we stopped and took some pics

My only experience in Chile was a business trip into Santiago. I didn't see any of your beautiful country but would love to go back and ride it top to bottom. I see so many ride reports through your country and they show such a diversity of climate, people and conditions.

Thanks again for sharing these pictures with us. Congrats on having a wife who likes to ride with you. That makes riding so much more enjoyable.

Having spent time south of Puerto Montt around Hornipen, Chile you report brings back nice memories of your great country. Would love to ride my GS there. Another thing I like about Chile is that your flag is very similar to ours here in Texas.
