Hi all ... just in case anyone's coming from the Milwaukee or surrounding area, I'm having a little pre-ride get-together tomorrow morning from 7am-9am at my house. Nothing fancy, just coffee & bagels & a little meet-n-greet.

We'll have a little fire going, and we put up the 10'x20' canopy tent tonight, just in case it's sprinkling, so we can stand around in comfort.

Drop me a PM if you're planning to stop, or just show up, doesn't really matter. Our place is at N52 W23798 Parkview Drive, Sussex WI.

Come any time after 7am, we're heading out a 9am. I'm leading the group through the "lake country" area (Delafield, Hartland, etc) on the way out.

Stop by ... please just respect our neighbors (arrive quietly). Looking forward to meeting a few new faces.

It's great to see the Buells, and I saw JasonTDI's bike (very nice!!) but since when did the event turn into a gathering place for every Ultra Classic with straight pipes in the midwest??


I think I'll pass on all future SHDCR unless the weather's crappy.. Then it'll just be a SCR because the Ultra/Lifestyle riders won't want to get their bikes dirty..

I swear I could smell Stabil coming out of one of them. And I don't believe the scoot had ever seen a water mark. When will THEY get a clue and stay where THEY belong? Of course you could look at it this way. It will probably be a week or two before any of THEM will be back on the road. Too much polishing to do.

There were some fantastic bikes there!! That Husky (#57) looked SO GOOD!!

Of course, that Orange Water Buffalo was the best bike of the bunch.. Mostly because I welded the exhaust bracket back together on one of the pipes a couple months ago.. It fit in the lineup very well!!

And the RG500 Gamma that's always there.. Schwing!!

Someday I'll get that Aprillia RS250 that I've always dreamed about, and get to park next to the two smoker crowd..

It was Harley-rific, alright.

I'm not a photo editing pro, but I figured out how to make that photo of the Honda 350 Four MUCH better..
