She started like this: then little mud then the handguards and risers finished up. the klacking had to go! then to trail ride a bit... but with weather this cold a windscreen was needed! so this showed up! notice anything? oh scotts too! then decided to raise them just a bit! five minutes later.... actually.... looks more like this at the moment... the pieces... stock can is heavy! :huh GPS is gonna get mounted above the instrument cluster as well as the heated troller switches. oh and this guy hooked me up! works slow... especially outta town playing in death valley..
It's coming along nicely... With the handlebar risers, what did you do about the brake hose and clutch cable?
nothing yet... going to have a local shop make me a longer brake line and was really thinking about getting the magura hydro clutch... but not sure... suggestions?
Awesome! I'm looking forward to seeing what you do to prep your bike and your reasoning behind it. Like why you chose a certain bash plate, etc.
electrical tonight! eastern beaver, GPS, heated gear troller, AUX lights.... by the way.... what do you people use for a "switching power" lead? paint scheme I am going to use.... you like?
I like the colour scheme ... even the frame, although it is a little bit "KTMish" I was wondering how the Brittanica Composites fairing and the handlebar risers work together. No intereference ? Also have you tried out the fairing? I was thinking of getting a similar setup when funds permit. I also wondered what you were doing to the suspension?
Paint looks great. I use the CANBus for switched power. You get a few minutes of power after the bike is off as well so that takes some getting used to.
not yet... going to custom weld and bend some up. Ohlins rear is on the horizon thus far and still doing research on the front... just not many companies out there for the forks yet...
Paint the frame! As you have it laid out in the picture bike looks fantastic! Awesome work - enjoying watching your build.
GPS mounting.... Ok folks need some help! going to mount the GPS right above the instrument cluster like this picture shows. here is what I have currently.... now should I just bolt this ^ straight up or should I get one of these or similar?
