NEW Maintenance/Repair/Accessory DVDs (need opinions)

Did anyone mention installation of a Centech or Blue Sea fuse box to power accessories? Maybe the benefits of relay vs. non-relay fuse box? Pehaps a recommendation for the best/closest wire to tap to get a switched wire for the relay?

Show how to build a Manometer and how to use it to balance the TB with and without a GS911

No need for a GS-911 for a TB sync. http://www.jimvonbaden.com/R1200_TB_Sync.html

The GS911 is useful for calibrating the stepper motors, but seems to have little value for a throttle body sync.

As for the Manometer, that is not that difficult:

I have read where some people us the GS911 to lock the steppers while doing the TB Sync. I've not tried doing it that way myself, maybe next time I will see there is any difference.

The real value of the GS-911 seems to be the calibration of the stepper motors. It smooths idle and off idle transition.

How about the rewiring of the ABS control to eliminate the low voltage code

I`d like to see fork seals, final drive rebuild and clutch replacement. By the way I have two of your DVD`s and think they`re great.

want to add to my previous list, like how to take off an RT plastic tank.
Much different than a GS.
changing the light bulbs up front.
replacing the RT windshields and/or it's motor.
how to get behind the dashboard.
Pehaps you should split the DVD between the GS and the others like the S's, R and RT.

While alot of your current DVD helps there are things needed on a non GS bike that are not covered.

Good point. I wonder if there is enough differences to make it worth while? Maybe a Repair DVD that has the RT and the R specific differences and items?

I know you said a DVD, but I would like to see a roadside repair/troubleshooting/diagnostic guide (laminated)

It would be great to have a E Version prepared for an iPad or Android. This would help us DVD challenged people.
Your DVD's have been very helpful and I appreciate the time and effort you've put into them. When I'm on a road trip the DVD's are really not available. I've converted them to a MP4 format and I'm sure there are many more of us Inmates would appreciate this format for future and past Video's.

I bought your DVD for my '10 RT and it did make things go very smoothly. At the same time, I've done many of the farkles I've added (risers, guards, stereo upgrades, etc) in spite of the documentation the vendor included ...

I'd be willing to reverse some of these and re-do them to help with the content. I think there's a market, and I think some of the accessory vendors would be smart to include segments with their products to aid people in installing them...

The one thing that would make the DVD easier for me would be a checklist of the steps so I knew I didn't miss anything. I made up for it by taking notes, still missed a step or two, reviewed the DVD and got it right the second time :)

Excellent idea, especially for the maintenance and repair DVDs.

I have worked with a few accessory vendors to create tutorials and videos. This is definitely a possibility for the future!
