Too much plastic bodywork. Looks like it will take a lot of time to get to the part your changing...read expensive to service. The wet clutch will be a relief for many but, are the friction clutch plates easy to get at in case they need servicing? More questions than answers. I'll need to see it in person before I vote. It doesn't look much like a BMW anymore.

Thanks for posting all these pictures TEIZMS ! ! I will have to agree with a few inmates that posted above, it does look like a lot of plastics and it is a little too angular for me, just very glad I got my 2012 ! ! I always thought that the GSA was a beautiful machine from the first time I saw one flying by me on the freeway, but then again after time these new lines might start to look a little better ... not sure though ...
I am sure someone has asked before, so I am sorry if I ask again, but do we know when the new GSA will come out ? or are there better or newer pictures than the "spy ones" we've seen on this thread ?

its feel more compact. not as wide and huge - at least compared to my regular ol 05 GS. if my "feeling" is correct than thats a good thing. My wife pointed out that the seats also seem smaller (esp the pillion).
looks wise i think its a good progression of the current designs.

i feel they totally ripped off the GS design (esp Explorer) even on the 800s

99.9% wont leave the hard top so it dont much matter , they will get farkled up by long hour working dudes with lots of cash who dream of an off road adventure but dont have the time or confidence to make a trip. I wish i could meet such a person before they buy and say hey mate, first look at what your doing, step back and decide that your going to take more hours off, do a bmw off road course, dont buy any hard luggage, just get a light setup and cooking set, now take off and camp and see your country , write about your experiences and the people you meet , in some old journal. Then as you ride down the road near your house on your return, feel that feeling that only going away can give....Now this is why you buy a bike.

    Yeah, yeah. Off-topic. Sorry. :)

And why, exactly, would I give a shit how some other dude spent his money? He can commute on it for all I care. It's a motorcycle, afterall, not a lifestyle.

Technically it looks good, aesthetically it looks like the same demented elf who screwed with BMW cars attacked this thing with his ugly stick. Waaay too much drastic plastic. That is going to be one tough bike to clean....

Teiz. Go find the Enduro version. Saw a pic posted on fb. Raw Hyde Adventures shows a silver one with knobbies and crash guards and a flat seat.

Yea, I know, most will only get "dirty" when the mochaccino gets spilled on them at Starbucks:rofl

But for those of us here on this forum who actually ride these bikes, it's going to be a pain.

Glad it's a turd. Makes me love my adventure even more. Almost thought I'd have to trade her in for a younger model. Danke BMW.
