Ha, I am a little anal about keeping my things clean. Its a 2006 I bought from an old man in Ohio this January. It had 400 miles on it. I think it has about 650 on it now. So its like new.

Hey man, I bought IHF's DRZ 400E about 6 months ago and he guessed it had probably 5000 miles on it then and I have done at least 1000 or so . Still does a great job. Of course IHF could barely ride the thing so it was never really ridden hard till I climbed on it. :rofl

No kidding, I wish developers would quit putting everything off until the last minute.....I always say "Lack of planning on your part doesn't necessarily constitute an emergency on my part".

Bought a new pair of insulated riding pants from Cycle Gear today. Also, I just got done installing heated grips on the DRZ. Soooooo..... I'm still in.

At least until the bike burns to the ground because I didn't fuse anything.

I've made a fair living off poor planners. Emergencies pay better anyway. :deal

Could you post pic of the grips and link me the riding pants?

My FJR has heat grips, my DRZ needs them. Once you have had heated grips it's hard to go back!

I'll get some good pics tomorrow. They are just the stick on type that go under the grips. Hi/Low switch, etc. Real simple design, but a bitch to find a place to mount the switch. I ended up having to fabricate a panel.

Pants are the Typhoon pants made by Bilt, a store-brand of Cycle Gear. They are "on sale" right now for $79.99. Getting good reviews, so I decided to pick up a pair. I'm gonna stick my old pair of First Gear HT overpants in the Flea Market in a couple days. 42Tall and never even got them dirty.
