Here is the new and improved Big bike thread. It's for everyone who likes to ride and not a place for BS. (maybe a little) :1drink

I would like to see big and small bikes riding together in peace, do what you want with it. try to keep it cool. after all we all like to ride. :ricky

This kind of leaves off from here http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=749143
hopefully without any of the BS. :mulie

A lot of shit went down here, you can take it for what it was or leave it, just don't start shit on it (the new thread). OK? OK. :dhorse

I hope the big bike crowd will pickup where it left off and run with it, I liked the rides and ride reports after all looks like I'll ride big when I get old. :muutt

I'll be working on my big bike the LC4 to get it up to par.

    Lets go and ride.

Alright Grinch, you just revived one of my favorite threads. The LC4 is my "big" bike too, for now. Plenty of them have been around the world.....So when is the first ride? thread master Grinch? What about some nice hard boxes for the 640? A rally fairing? LED's?

I'm in. Big road ride this weekend up Hwy 1 on big bikes. The new tiger is absolutely fantastic. First oil change done, panniers and topbox are on, gassed up and loaded, ready to roll.

End of month MotoGP at Laguna Seca in Monterey - anybody going??? Ride up with us, just a couple so far. Friday to Monday with paddock passes and camping under the oak trees.

I'll try and give you a call if I think of it. We are in Chapparal campground on the south end of the track near the entrance. Space is across from the bathhouse. Come by for a beer. We'll have CCTV and chairs on the hill overlooking the track/exhibits. Lot's o' eats and beverages.

Yes, they broadcast the entire event and one of the guys brings a satelite dish so if you're not sitting at the track and are back at camp you can stay caught up on the action. EZ-Ups, tables, bbq's, coolers, and beer. We'll have it all. It's a big party for 3 days, then a fun ride home from Monterey.

Saturday night is 'bike night' downtown Monterey. Last time I rode down for it there were ten thousand motorcycles lining the streets. It's epic. The problem is you have to watch your beer intake all day if you want to ride downtown for it. :1drink Talk about a party in the streets!

One of the hilights are the electric race bikes. Yep, electric powered grand prix road race bikes. They are amazingly fast. I toured their pit area and the technology they are developing is mind boggling. They're not quite up to the regular bikes, but damn fast nonetheless. And they are really quiet!! Lots of whining and whirring. :D
