Adding on to what Jordan just wrote.
I couldn't have made the trip without Zach and Carrie, they drove me home and picked me up. I also stayed the night before the trip. I really appreciate their hospitality.

Camping on Fri, Sat, and Sun was a blast at the really nice campground. I also like where Jordan and his wife Nikie camped right by the river.
Saturday was inspiring to see Jordan ride all these places with his bike fully loaded. He went on trails and technical areas that were challenging to myself, being a new WR rider.
The next day Zach lead Carrie and I up and down some great trails and that really showed me the area.
Overall, this was the best vacation I have been on in years. I love my WR compared to my beefy KLR and thanks to everyone who recommended it!

Right on! That BMW would have been great on this trip except for a few tight woods trails. (IDK maybe you could have made it.) I would love that bike for the fire roads and highway stuff we were doing. Lots of the dirt track stuff would have been okay too.

    New Subject:
Where and When are we riding next weekend? This is a question to everyone.
I have decided I may even do some camping with my riding next weekend.

I would like to ride / camp, but I'm stuck in Midland for work this week. I SHOULD be back in town Friday night, but I've been out of town a lot, so if I do anything it will have to be a day ride.

I think I'd prefer Sunday up at Bulcher if I had my way, but I can't promise I can make that even, so don't plan around me.

I was down in the Austin/San Antonio area for MotoGP last weekend... so I may not have been riding, but at least I was around motorcycles...

I hired a dog sitter and have packed my stuff.
I will be exploring on Sat, camping Sat night, and riding off road on Sunday.
Unless someone else suggest something, I plan to head to...PM to find out.
    Hint = OK

Don't know what I'll be doing. It looks like I'm going to be tearing apart my rear suspension tonight.

    Something is amiss.

I could say something about checking out your rear end tonight. But I'll refrain.

Can confirm, something is loose in his rear end for sure. It used to be so tight...

I won't be riding this weekend (and I don't think Ender or Child will be either). Ender said Child is bikeless (he left it in midland) - ...ender and I have other (separate) obligations.

It looks like the weather will be bad sat and sun in OK.
I have decided to go camping on my land in East Texas and explore that area for cool places to ride.
Purtiss creek state park. Anyone is invited. Will be coon and hog hunting on Sat night. :)

I'd like to get in on coon and hog hunting - I've been trying to plan a trip with another friend. We were planning to go this Sat, but the place we're going had a schedule conflict and bumped us to May 4th.

Not yet. Sorry for late reply. We have gone twice, but Andrew stinks so the hogs smell him and run away. JK JK :rofl
