I realized the other day that I take a lot of pics when out riding, but I am the only one that ever sees most of them. You will probably see a lot of pics of my regular riding areas from different perspectives, times of year etc. I guess I will start with pics from 2012. The mild winter meant I was out riding in January. This is the entrance to Greenwood Furnace State Park camping area. I seem to pass though here on a lot of my evening rides.

I've been around that area a few times while muzzleloader hunting on Penn State land. Not sure if I know where Jack's Mountain is, looks like a nice overlook.

Last year (in the truck) I accidently took Barrville Rd over the mountain. We started going up the road and was hitting "virgin" snow when I realized that I should not have been following the GPS. I told my uncle when we got to camp and he was all worried about it. It wasn't too bad though. Looks like a lot of nice places up there to ride.

Yep Barville road is a nice road when its not covered with snow. It is a short cut if your heading toward Reedsville from Greenwood or vice versa.

Nice train pictures. When I was up at camp a few weeks ago we thought about riding down to horseshoe curve.

Thanks Murdock.I haven't been up there for a long time. I can remember my Dad taking us up there when they would run an old steam engine on the main lines once and a while. It would be noce if they still did that.

Nice RRog. I grew up in the area. Traveled the gravel from Happy Valley to Huntingdon Valley many times. Thanks for the Greenwood Furnace shots and story. :thumb :lurk

Your welcome Jax. I am usually in that area at least 2-3 times a week.
