I was looking at the Wunderlich GS emotion case as well. So you're satisfied with the stability of the mount? Did you remove the mudguard? I've wondered if it would smack the case on a good compression? thx
Here are the photos of the toolbox. The supports work well, and don't have any interference issues. I like that this is supposed to water resistant/proof (per the youtube video). I did not remove the mud guard yet - it is hard to imagine it hitting the bottom of the box.
Thanks for the pictures of the box. Looks like a delivery from Wunderlich coming this way. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Has anyone found the turbulence from the stock windshield (the higher one) a bit much? I'm 6'3" and the turbulence either hits me in the neck area (low position) or at the eyes (high position). I don't mind wind on my chest, but not at those two places. Has anyone tried an aftermarket screen? I'm considering just removing it.
Just installed the Altrider headlight guard... I posted full install under Inmate Existence_Inc post titled " Altrider Headight Protection"
I'm the same height and have had good luck with the VStream. There is a thread here where I gave a detailed review. So far I'm happy with it, especially for the price.
Very nice addition. Just hard to pull the trigger on this for the asking $200. Seems a bit over priced.
My passenger wanted more wind protection on my 2014 GSA, so I installed the Wunderlich Touring windshield. Did the trick, and the support helped. I also installed the Jesse Odyssey 2's with the new mounts. Here's a photo of the stock and wunderlich windshield.
My dealer tells me there is backorder on the side cases from BMW. So for now I have only the topcase. And No word on the GSAP either.
NUTS Mine were just ordered yesterday....guess I'll just use duffel bags in the meantime...I'll ask my dealer later today if they were given an ETA for new production.
I stash my tool bag in the cavity right behind the pillion seat. I'll take a picture later today and post so you can see where that is. I can fit the basic tools and a tire repair kit. I also carry a jump start cable under the rider seat: It connects to the Battery Tender Jr. SAE lead and has clamps on the other end.
