The Ricor Intiminators and Rear Shock made my KLR a completely different bike.
Simple enought to do as long as you have some way to get the wheels up off the ground (bike frame jack).

The first thing I noticed after the install was that you can go right over ther rumble strips they carve into the road at stops and not feel them. Off road with a lad is way better. I don't try to pretend this pig is a MX bike, so I can't comment on that.

Looking forward to it. If you beat me there, the gas station has quite the impressive "tobacco pipe" display that will keep anybody's attention undivided for at least a few minutes.:evil

    Hi guys,
I thought I would chime in,Since I have a 990 and know where traction dynamics is. I had my front fork springs changed to a much heavier ones so long ago I don't remember where I got them. It makes a huge difference. Having a properly sprung bike allows you to control it with confidence. Traction dynamics is in an industrial park in Jasper more or less across from the Home Depot behind the fats and that shopping center. I believe it's on Confederate drive near the end of the cul-de-sac.
Hope this helps and good luck with your bike.

Traction or Traxxion Dynamics? Traxxion is in Woodstock. My neighbor used to work for them and my wife did some outdoor banners for them at one time. The address I have for Traxxion is 261 Rope Mill Pkwy, Suite 3, Woodstock, GA 30188

Traxxion is off the Sixes Rd exit at 5-75 and Rope Mill Rd, about 1/2 mile as the crow flies from my house.

On my 990 ADV I had the additional (Neduro) 2.5 Gallon tail gas tank. This gave me a range of around 250 miles. It was a great feature!! I really liked my ADV and the main reason I ended up selling it was she started to be unreliable on long trips. It was the damn $750 fuel pump that kept on failing on me. Either way, even with all the issues I miss owning it.:cry I had that poor bike in places it shouldn't of been. :eek1 The DR650 is a great bike, but its just not doing it for me as my only DS bike. To be honest I really don't miss the 690 at all . :deal I just couldn't get the feel for that bike. I noticed Andrew sold his too. Hopefully BD won't see all this!! :D

The reason I believe I would like the SE (never rode one) is simplicity and weight saving compare to the ADV (especially the 990). However the big disadvantage to me is the fuel capacity, I'm just not fond of filling up ever 100 miles when I typically ride around 20K miles every year.

The darn thing about this one for sale in CA is that it address all these issues.:evil It has the Safari 7.5 Gallon tank, SPS suspension and whole bunch of additional goodies that I may or may not need.:clap Ok, so I'm JUST going to peak at the shipping cost, I'm sure it will deter me from considering this.....:freaky

    HAPPY NEW YEAR, DOGS !!
