How many front pages can you get from one RR?

Answer: if it's this one, about 50.

WOW! what a shot! Totally front page material!

Earlier, the camping-on-the-road reminded me of my Alaska trip, where i took some overgrown road and was locked in by vegetation to camp right on it!

Again, Bravo! What a beautiful country you're riding in! I can only hope to go have my own adventure in that part of the world. Thank you for taking time and sharing yours with us :clap

You have probably been asked this, but from your experience (riding the X), realistically, how much tougher, if at all, is the terrain on the F800 vs. the X? both bikes being loaded as they are. With kit and luggage, they both are hefty weights i bet. Thanks!

Is that the new army hat?
You used to wear it while taking a plunge.
Or did you forget yours at home?

    Welcome back MJ.

Also appreciated very much your Super Ten test, wouldn't use it for that kinda trip though :ear

Are those lodges the Ernest Hemingway or Teddy Roosevelt jet-set lodges?

    Woow

That would for sure spoil my whole trip.

Africa so rugged and beautiful full of people who show up to help at river crossings. children looking on from a distance and the voices of women sing at night around there fires. there is no story better told then the truth of living life.
I am drawn to many fine reports however yours , since Angola which was heart stopping, have been my choice for the best reports.
    Well done
    :clap
How deep can you use the engine in a river crossing?

If you are ever in Chad and see some similar style wells. I may have built a few of them. I was in the US Peace core for a few years out of High School. I dug many a well. Freakishly hard work
