They have a Conti-escape 17" rear on the rack here at Cycle Gear on clearence for $56.:eek1 Someone ordered it and said it was the wrong one so they are stuck with it. I just wished it was an 18" that would fit my XRL.:cry

There is a state park or something on the Virginia side. From what a fellow told me years ago it is a VERY expensive proposition to get caught riding the beach on the Va. side of the line.

Finally got my Savage 650 on the road last Friday. I hope to chase down a tag or two when it gets closer to home. The current tags are out of reach for me right now.

Well, First priority is to grab breakfast here in Frisco, then see how far to the upper beach tag (VA border). That looks roughly like 100 miles north of me...
I'm borrowing the Wi-Fi here at the Comfort Inn so will have to look for another connection up there if I decide to go that far. I'll post up a new tag this afternoon and it'll be somewhere west of here for sure (the KLR is pretty versatile but I don't think she can swim too well):D

Ed you tagging fool! Way to go! We are all breathing a sigh of relief now that the never-neverland tag has been grabbed! I wish I could stay at that place forever...

you do know you don't have to get both tags, I would hate to hear you got stuck out there in the sand! How was the ride? You gotta post a ride report on this one!!!! Check out previous ride reports for tags.

I guess my frustration showed thru the cool calm facade, huh? :rofl

spent the last two days up on a cabin with a metal roof helping my buddy the stonemason rock in a chimney

    can you say mix mud?
    put mud in bucket?
pull bucket of mud up rope?
select rocks and repeat the rope & bucket trick with the rocks?

dang the things I'll do for $$

oh well, better workout than the gym

    where's the tag??? :lurk

oh yeah RR, shuddup and go get a tire :rofl

    that were funny
