Asshats.

And I still spend money there. They get me every year with the rebate.

Here they are, all three of them:

And after:

And a closeup of the one in the back:

How 'bout that...

Tank 7 update.

Before (it's lower than it looks):

After:

Speed bevel

Now you can all ride it in comfort.

Recent rainy days made for some excellent trail conditions.
Traction was like velcro.

Looks like we rode Tank 7 about three days too early. That tree was there last year, but about two feet higher and you could squeeze under it. This year we had to lay our bikes on the ground and drag them through. You know us out-of-staters hate that. Thanks.

Rick,

Thanks for removing the tree. It was a little pain in the butt dragging the bikes under. Was your sign still in the lower meadow. We did not notice it. I noticed the green "T" post, but no sign.

Take a closer look at those red lines. Some ass hat in the area has a roll of skinny red tape.

Cleared a bunch of trail this weekend, sadly no trees or jumbles big enough to be picture worthy. But the weather was perfect and it felt great to great to out and sweat and move and see the world, it has been a long, cold winter. And contrary to some discussion by the reprobates I was riding with I am not a fashion conscious diva, I did not buy the bike because it was the same color as my saw

Sometimes you just can't win. The last trail to clear for the day. 100 yards from the end. We had to cut this one six times.

Hate that!

We had a very Strong guy on our last outing. He'd jump off his bike and try and move every tree with his back before letting us near it with a saw. Yawn. Towards the end of the day he managed to slide a big one down the hill. He was feeling pretty proud til we told him it landed on the switchback below and the saw is out of gas.. Go get em tiger!!

Yeah, as I get older, I think more like an Egyptian when heavy things need to be moved: Use ramps, pulleys, levers and slave labor whenever possible.

Other than lifting a car off your loved one, I can't think of any lifting that is worth a life altering back injury.
