    I would of scouped that up myself if it was in my area. I'd love to find the same bike but the DT-400. As said, they are hard to come by.

    +1 on the crank seals :thumb They are going to go bad, it's an age thing.

    They are great bikes, I worked at a yamaha shop in those years and the DTs were bullitproof for that era. Looks like you stumbled on a real barn find :D

    I'd do all the fluids, autolube, forks etc.. and ride the hell out of it.

    I've got a nice original '78 DT175 and companion parts bike I'm not doing anything with.
