Meet, Eat and Greet in Central Georgia!

Meet, eat and greet in Central Georgia.

Several of us in the Georgia tag section have been talking about doing this for a couple of weeks now. I've decided to just throw it out there and see what happens.

The what: Get together to eat some of Georgia's finest BBQ.

The where: Georgia Bob's, off of Hwy 96, Warner Robins, GA.

The when: 10 August 2013

The time: 1:00 PM plus or minus

Warner Robins is about smack dab in the middle of the state so it shouldn't be more than a three hour ride from any direction which makes it an ideal location to have such an event!

well. i'm still halfway on vacation. i'll check monday to see if i can get off from work for it. if not... it would be a tight run for me up and back to go back in to work. pretty certain that would be a solo visit. our 18yo works on weekends and we have a hard time putting confidence in others to keep our babies.

these two are too precious to leave in the hands of "just anyone"...




i should have a clue by monday or tuesday.

I'm just speaking for me, not Jub, and this is his get together but I would rather meet, greet, and eat with you AND your family, put everyone in a car and come on down. Hell, I don't care what bike you ride, knowing Jub there will be more than one of these where we can see your bike.

If thats not a problem for the group, then that works for me. I do NOT like to just show up with the kids. particularly at restraunts. most of us know how unpredictable (and loud) youngins can be. i dont like being asked to leave a restraunt because of a kid crying. (yes its happened)

Before I had kids I shared your concern, after raising 3 of my own I no longer care what goes on at the next table.
I will sit with your family and enjoy the company.

My wife and I will possibly be there. I will know closer to the date. B1pig, I have three of my own, no worries there. Don't go back to the restaurant that asked you to leave.

I agree with Terry. It's about greeting and eating, fellowship with other bikers! Bring the young-Uns. I'm pretty sure Georgia Bob's is family friendly.

Same goes for Fireman. I know you have a wife and kids, bring them along!

I'm not from Georgia, but can I come anyway? I can be there in about 3.5 hours on the back roads.

I have a confirmation from the wife. If I can get details sorted between both my jobs, We'll be there. I should have that sorted tomorrow or Tuesday.
