    Hi all,

Forgive me if this already exists (I can't find it) but I though it would be great to have one dedicated thread wheres guys from Melbourne and surrounds can put up day trips, group rides, friends wanted ads :cry etc etc. You get the idea.

I'lll try Precis. Can't promise anything.

I'm on a DR too, try to get out on Saturdays when the weather is nice (girlfriend works Saturdays :D) to Melbourne surrounds (Kinglake, Cathedral Range, Lerderderg etc etc). Nothin too extreme, just dirt roads, 4x4 tracks.. Will post when I'm heading out next.

I'm from Mitcham, but my girl lives in Preston. I'm keen too. Maybe we could organize a meet and greet at a pub. I like the Pinnacle in nth fitzy.
I'm on a DR650 in desperate need of some love.

Look, when a wog bike "fails to proceed" you know you'll always have a decent glass of wino, or maybe a good espresso on a cold morning.
When a Jap bike breaks down, what have you got? Luke-warm sake drunk from a square wooden box, most likely.
The best the Brits can do is a glass of warm flat beer or a cup of Earl Grey with 4 sugars & too much milk; the box-heads aren't much better - but then again, you'll be close enough to civilisation to take the tram home.
At least the Austrians will have a decent schnapps...
