Picked up a sweet set of Dunlop 908's with no wear on them for $140 on Kijiji today. Just saved over $300! Great McLean Creek tires.

Been thinking a lot about ditching the 990 Adventure and getting a 1290 Superduke R and a 500EXC SIx Days to replace it. Best of both worlds. [IMG][IMG]

I may know of a very mildly used 500EXC coming up for sale. Not a 6D, but only a year old and hardly ridden.

    PM on the way.

Haha. Been there done that. 2 or even 4 bikes at one point that all did something very well. Still missed a bike that did it all. Went back to big bore enduro/adv.

Not sure if I'll sell the Harley or not when Brunhilda (the KTM) shows up, but we'll see. Rendine (the Harley) might sit in the garage crying a lot.

    Hey,
Any of you guys had issues with your 990 not wanting to start in this cold Calgary weather?
First fall with the bike and it really doesn't seem to like the cold.

Coldest was -5 (outside) so far and she started just like normal, although it idled higher for the first few minutes (as expected).

How old is your battery, and are the connections tight and clean?

The 990 loves the cold air, she seems to have a bit more lift in the front wheel ;)

Had mine out late last night. Started fine.

Are you running a non standard fuel map?

Mine starts no problem down to -15. And it DOES have more thrust with the cold air. Suspect your battery needs replacing. If it is turning over fine, may need mapping attention. Plugs good?

Guys - has anyone heard where this will be screening in Calgary? I REALLY want to see this movie - if it's half as good as the original than it will be awesome.

I don't think it will be screening but I think you can do iTunes etc for a digital download the release day.

Thank you both. Any Day that I can ride is a great day. I'm hoping to get out for a little while tomorrow since the forecast says Sunday it gets ugly!

Apparently bones get brittle once you get your membership. :lol3

Next week sounds like better weather for a pub night than any riding time, yikes!
