Well some of you made it for Memorial Day weekend, and the weather seems to be holding. Glad to see those that came and miss those that didn't. Glad we stayed home this weekend, though the reason doesn't make us happy. Looking forward to seeing everyone in Sept. Housemother and Gregg.

Oh, jeeze! That looks familiar. I think I was closer than that to hitting the deer, though.

Crashes!? I dont think you will see that with such highly skilled riders!
The worst crash we didnt get on film, ziggy was hanging back doing some tricks and things went wrong , we missed it.
For the most part we all stayed on two wheels, I had a front end wash out once, Dratharr dropped his bike twice, once while navigating a sharp corner and another time while trying to piss and balance his bike at the same time

Big jumps, nasty rock piles, or huge hill climbs?

Oh I want to ride there again! I like how when I started watching the videos, some stuff doesn't look that steep...until I realize you're just coasting down a hill and picking up speed really quickly. Then you get to some of that single track that actually looks steep on camera...and man it must be!

6714 was pretty dang steep. At one point there is a section of down hill where I was doing all I could with the fat pig to keep it in a straight line, I had my hands full
and then in that same video there is another steep hill climb that has switch backs, rocks, stumps... Burnt some clutch on that one.. the front end was lofted as I made it up the toughest part... stopping would have sucked it was tight track cut in by hand

Its tough to see on the gopro, but if you look at the angle of the trees compared to the ground it gives a little reference.. yeah the downhill picking up speed and dodging trees.. you can hear the slate coming down the hill behind me.. It was fun

Crazy how it happens so fast you're not even sure what caused it. It's ok... only the cool cats crash hard. I don't think you really fully enjoy the ride until you've been "bucked off".
