So, Manchester Honda has the Vespa 300 in stock, which is nice. I'm going to have to show this to the Mrs. I seriously want to test ride it, I bet it flies. I wonder if you can bore it out to a 450.

the 300 is bad ass. I couldn't talk Ann Marie into it, so I'm thinking of the 80CC upgrade for her 50...

That's a GTV. You are not allowed to molest it. And if you're seriously considering for mrs.akarob, it's a horrible first scoot. If you want it for yourself, it's great but not nearly as fun as riding a smaller displacement, lighter weight scoot. If you want big (yes, it's all relative), you want the Piaggio BV350 'cos when you're bored with it, you'll sell it to me.

Genuine just brought out an automatic Stella. It's so wrong in so many ways, but if you don't want to shift, want a metal body, and lust after the stunning good looks of the late 70's...

If I was buying new this year, I'd get the Hooligan. It's hawt. It's got 12 inchers so you can get knobbies for it.

Stella has got it going on, for sure!

Like the idea of 12" knobbies, that and the Tiger I'd have it all covered. We'd need to start a scooter enduro though

I rode one of these several months ago at the pub and it was pretty sweet and peppy (my friend was considering buying this particular one) but the dude wanted way too much money for it.

Being my first camping trip, I'll skip cooking. I'll live off sandwiches and try any/all of the stuff that has been announced and will pitch in whatever is needed.

One other thing I realized: The camping chair and the cot will not fit in the side cases, so I got a couple of these to strap them on top of the cases or across the seat:
