I may be wrong, but that may still be rainy season in central america. If that matters.

Please let me know when you are heading out. I'm an experienced rider. I have a DRZ and I like the dirt as much as the pavement.

I'm still in the negotiations phase at work to get a chunk of time off (I call it sabbatical, they call it quiting).
When you head out be sure and keep us in mind. I'm especially intersted in the ferry. It would cut the time/cost in half
Since Radioman, dmob and Seanpnw got back I need a good ride report to follow.

I plan to enter MX at Laredo about 10/17 or 18 heading down Hwy 57 to San Miguel. This is my first time in MX so I want to limit my days to around 200-250 miles so I can enjoy sightseeing a bit along the way. If you want a riding partner for that first 600 miles and the timing works for you, let me know. I'll be staying in motels/hotels and it would be good to have someone to split room costs with as well as to have someone along in general.

I will head out mid Oct. Destination San Jose, Costa Rica. I have to be at Costa Rica by 15th of Nov.

My plan is to get there as soon as possible, and take leisurely time coming home. Although I never really took it easy coming home. Every trip I took, return trip has only one purpose, to get home.

So this is new try. What do you think?
