Probably find the front springs are heavy (0.54 need to go to 0.48) and the shims stacks are too heavy as well. Adjusting the clickers on mine made no difference.
Simply gorgeous. Love the large, bold, yet simple KTM lettering. Bravo. Hope your turn signals work out for you - it'd be a shame if either the left rear melted or either of the fronts got snagged/torn. Looks great!!
Thanks . I originally tried a bunch of more complicated graphics but always came back to simple ,bold .my friend came up with the final product and color . I am a little worried about those 'blinkers' .time will tell (maybe very short time )
I rode through a fresh controled burn area, big difference between the left and right side of the trail.
Last week through the twisties near Rock Store on Mulholland Highway: And after its first play in the dirt:
So I have all my decals on now with a little Canadian flair I'm really happy with the way it turned out, I hope you like it Before... After...
Jorich: Where did you get the webbing/ rubber grab handles? Got a link? I've been looking at a few boating supply places but they all seem too long? I tried to make some out of some 1" webbing but they looked like doo-doo. I'm sick of hitting my knees on the stock plastic rear grab handles when mounting the bike, but they sure are handy for dragging it around. Your setup looks like the hot ticket.
I wish i could take credit for it, but I saw it on another inmates bike on this thread. I bought kayak handles from a fellow on ebay. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Flat-Moulded-Webbing-Kayak-Handle-Pair-/370230532547 I melted a hole through them for the mounting bolts with a soldering iron, trimmed them when they were loosely mounted and ran the soldering iron over the frayed ends. They really are the ticket, I've been planning on cutting the steel handle off the rack to clean it up back there!
