    What's Happening: ADV riders are great at entertaining themselves so things are left to happen as they happen and that's part of the fun. Any organizing happening is always up for change. <?xml:namespace prefix = "v" ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:vml" /><v:shapetype id=_x0000_t75 coordsize="21600,21600" o:spt="75" o:preferrelative="t" path="m@4@5l@4@11@9@11@9@5xe" filled="f" stroked="f"><v:stroke joinstyle="miter"></v:stroke><v:formulas><v:f eqn="if lineDrawn pixelLineWidth 0"></v:f><v:f eqn="sum @0 1 0"></v:f><v:f eqn="sum 0 0 @1"></v:f><v:f eqn="prod @2 1 2"></v:f><v:f eqn="prod @3 21600 pixelWidth"></v:f><v:f eqn="prod @3 21600 pixelHeight"></v:f><v:f eqn="sum @0 0 1"></v:f><v:f eqn="prod @6 1 2"></v:f><v:f eqn="prod @7 21600 pixelWidth"></v:f><v:f eqn="sum @8 21600 0"></v:f><v:f eqn="prod @7 21600 pixelHeight"></v:f><v:f eqn="sum @10 21600 0"></v:f></v:formulas><v:path o:extrusionok="f" gradientshapeok="t" o:connecttype="rect"></v:path><o:lock v:ext="edit" aspectratio="t"></o:lock></v:shapetype><v:shape id=_x0000_i1025 style="HEIGHT: 13.5pt; WIDTH: 12.75pt" type="#_x0000_t75" alt=""><v:imagedata src="file:///C:/Users/Sherry/AppData/Local/Temp/msoclip1/01/clip_image001.gif" o:href="http://d26ya5yqg8yyvs.cloudfront.net/lol8.gif"></v:imagedata></v:shape>

    <o:p></o:p>

    Rides: Self-guided rides with suggestions available. Remember this is ADV and as such things are VERY loosely organized which is part of the fun. Check the white board in the group area for rides or post on the white board that you are looking for someone to ride with. &#12288;If you are new to this and don't know anyone yet find me and I will introduce you around.
    &#12288;<o:p></o:p>

    Meals:This year meals will be on your own. There have been a few ideas kicked around but nothing concrete so please don't depend on food in camp. Enterprise is only about a mile away with a couple good Mexican Restaurants and Lear's Pub and Grill is awesome for breakfast, lunch, & dinner. There are a few other places as well. Joseph is about 7 miles away with more options.
    <o:p></o:p>
    <o:p></o:p>
    &#12288;
    Coffee:
    We will have hot coffee every morning for everyone. Nothing fancy just regular coffee. Bring your coffee mug so we don&#8217;t have to use disposables.

    <o:p></o:p>

    White Board:By popular demand and because I try to make everyone happy there will be a white board available to write ride invitations, etc. on. It will be hung either on the fence outside of the coffee area or inside that area. Is that vague or what? <v:shape id=_x0000_i1026 style="HEIGHT: 11.25pt; WIDTH: 11.25pt" type="#_x0000_t75" alt=""><v:imagedata src="file:///C:/Users/Sherry/AppData/Local/Temp/msoclip1/01/clip_image002.gif" o:href="http://d26ya5yqg8yyvs.cloudfront.net/icon10.gif"></v:imagedata></v:shape>
    <o:p></o:p>
    <o:p></o:p>
    <o:p></o:p>
    Group Photo Sat 8:30 PM: Our tradition has been to get a group photo each year which is always fun. This year Double Thumper has agreed to take our photo again. Meet in front of the office at 8:30 pm Sat. evening.<o:p></o:p>
    <o:p></o:p>
    <o:p></o:p>
    Breakfast suggestion:<o:p></o:p>
    Last year Steve had Lear's Pub and Grill open for breakfast for us at 6:00 am. In the past he has been the only one there and just lets us do a self serve on coffee and water while he takes care of getting orders and cooking them. He makes one heck of a breakfast too. <v:shape id=_x0000_i1027 style="HEIGHT: 15.75pt; WIDTH: 24.75pt" type="#_x0000_t75" alt=""><v:imagedata src="file:///C:/Users/Sherry/AppData/Local/Temp/msoclip1/01/clip_image003.gif" o:href="http://s3.amazonaws.com/advrider/DukeGirl.gif"></v:imagedata></v:shape>
    111 W Main St, Enterprise, OR
    <o:p></o:p>
    <o:p></o:p>
    <o:p></o:p>
    Supplies:<o:p></o:p>
    There is a well stocked Safeway in town for any grocery and <o:p></o:p>
    drink items you might want.<o:p></o:p>
    <o:p></o:p>
    <o:p></o:p>
    Beer:<o:p></o:p>
    If you enjoy breweries there is one of those in town too:<o:p></o:p>
    http://terminalgravitybrewing.com/ you can get a good meal there as well.<o:p></o:p>
    <o:p></o:p>
    <o:p></o:p>
    Motorcycle shop: Just in case. Did you forget your chain lube, need a new tire, chain, break something while out riding? You can almost see the shop from the campground and these folks are great. They open at 8:00 so the riding day isn't half over before you can get in.<o:p></o:p>
    http://outlawmotorsportsinc.net/<o:p></o:p>
    <o:p></o:p>
    <o:p></o:p>
    There is just about anything you might want or need within 2 miles of camp. Including a good hospital if needed - hopefully it won't be needed but it's nice to know it's there if it is.<o:p></o:p>
    <o:p></o:p>
    <o:p></o:p>
    If there is something I missed just ask.<o:p></o:p>

    While at the campout
    A number of years back I put together pages for the popular routes that people enjoy while in the area. Of course there is a lot more to find and ride just by getting out there and going.

    Go here for the basic routes: Ride Ideas
    There is a link to a gpx file for each route but don't totally trust it just use it as a guideline. There were a few mistakes when I created them and I won't guarantee their accuracy but it's a good base.
    Click on the name of the routes and they will take you to a page with a picture of a map, a few details like mileage, fuel availability, etc. and pictures.
    Ride Plans while there:

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Ride Planning on the way there:
    If you are looking for others to ride to the gathering with you or while you are there post it and I will add it here. That way it won't get lost in the posts along the way and people can refer back to this spot to see who is doing what (if they have posted it).
    Missoula, MT area riders:
    Siorc will be riding from Missoula, MT on Wed returning Mon, and would be happy to coordinate with others for the ride.
    From the Portland, OR area:
    From Kennewick area:
    Spokane/CDA
    If you are coming from the South and planned to ride FS39
    Update from this website:
    http://www.fs.usda.gov/detail/wallowa-whitman/alerts-notices/?cid=stelprdb5440926<?xml:namespace prefix = "o" ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" /><o:p></o:p>
    2015 Construction Schedule:
    • Southern 13 miles closed and gated until June 15.<o:p></o:p>
    • June 15 &#8211; June 30: Southern 13 miles closed and gated Tuesday at 8 am thru Thursday at 5pm.<o:p></o:p>
    • July 1 &#8211; October 15: Open everyday but travelers can expect up to 1 hour delays and a flagger / pilot car.<o:p></o:p>
    5/11/2015 News Release: Cattle Guard Installation on 39 Road<o:p></o:p>
    5/6/2015 Update: Forest Service Road (FSR) 39 is free and clear of snow and ice. The southern 18 miles, from Hwy 86 north to the junction of FSR 66, will remain closed and gated until June 15 due to construction. Visitors from Joseph can travel south on FSR 39 to the junction of FSR 66. FSR 66 is free of snow and ice from the junction with FSR 39 to Twin Lakes. At Twin Lakes there is heavy snow on the roadway. The roads have not been maintained so please use caution. Rocks are present in the roadway.
    Ummmm.
    I sure did miss last year.
    I love this place, roads left unridden and all that rot.
    But, as much as I hate to turn a once-was-auto-in into this......
    ...I'm gonna have to be on the fence for this year for a bit, until I figger a few things out. Friday Night Fajitas for all are sitting right there on the fence with me. The Wallowa, Imnaha, and Hells Canyons continue to call me, but...so does my new boss. We'll see......
    That being a responsible adult and working for a living is a bugger sometimes. Too many rides not enough time. 1st on the fence.
    Wahhhhhhooooo the Slow Family is IN < - - - - -
    How about the Mrs.? Will she be able to join in on the fun for 2015?
    That's a mighty tiny In Clint. See above and below for how to do it. Sing it loud and proud. :evil
    That's good news. We missed you last year. People kept asking me where you were and I didn't even know where I was. :lol3
    Pickle knows how to do an IN. :clap
    Another tiny In but at least this one as a ! :D A tiny in is better than no in.
    Of course again. I haven't chased you all off yet. :ricky
    'Bout time, I've been trying to get you to do this for the last 7 years. :D You're going to like it here and not want to return to TX :evil
    A big Koolaid drinking IN from the Big Girl :clap
    OK Max where's your IN? I hope you're not waiting for a motel 6 to be built in Enterprise before you post it.
