BMW Motorcycles of Countryside Illinois.. 15% off..
I hereby declare BMW Motorcycles of Countryside Illinois to be my new parts source..
Clutch switch failed on a ride Monday.. I tore it apart and pulled switch.. Ordered a new one about 7:00 PM.. They had the part in stock... They shipped it Tuesday... I got it Thursday AM....That's before 10:00 AM.. THEY GAVE ME A 15% DISCOUNT.... And a code to use next time... PROMO15 Now if I had ordered this part from my now defunct local dealer they would have charged me List Price of 42.08 Plus shipping... Plus Tax...Plus about 20% more just because they were greedy... I got the switch from Countryside for $28.61 after the 15% off... That's below list to start plus the 15% off... Freight was $8.91... Worth it for a two day ship...And they sent me some SWAG too !! Found my new dealer... bmwmcparts.com ![]() These guys rock !! John

As Useless As the Others...
Has potential, but won't show engine parts at all, common parts like fork seals out of stock, etc.. I'm giving up on online BMW parts- MaxBMW loses my whole long order when I goof up one digit in my credit card info. I then placed the same order with Bob's BMW two weeks ago. Haven't heard nor seen a thing, so I emailed them today- they claim they never got the order!
So tomorrow I'll be going on what looks to be a 400 miles parts run, just to scrounge up a few expendable bolts, seals, etc. to put my ST back together. And BMW, forget about ever selling me a new bike again!

Update
I order all of my pre 80s parts from Huckys. I have ordered a couple of times from these guys and absolutely love their attitude and service. Needed a new master cylinder assembly for a recently purchased 87 R80.
Called Monday and didnt get an answer so assumed they were closed. Called Tuesday and got parts guy. Said part would be ordered on Thursday and be in the next Tuesday to ship out to me. Asked if that was the only day they ordered, he said Monday also. I told him I thought they were closed after calling twice. I was somewhat miffed but not in a mood to throw a fit. He could tell. They, without even pushing, had the part sent FedEx to them Wednesday and they shipped to me. Got it Friday. PERFECT. 15% discount AND FREE shipping. Every time I have dealt with them 3 times now and all times were great.

Mike, since no one is talking actual prices, I will.
My calculations indicate that you paid 172.55 for that master cylinder is that correct? Robert |

Yes, exactly. Everyone else wanted $203.00 plus shipping.
Mine was so bad a repair piston wouldnt have worked. Bought the bike cheap and knew the M/C was toast, really pitted.

I bought an S fairing from them.
It would have been $390 plus shipping everywhere else. I got it from them for $330 to my door! Had to come from Deutschland. Got here, found a small crack. Yikes! Called them up, they emailed a Fedex call tag, and I got another one on the way. My rating thus far has been A++++ I hope they don't get clamped down upon because they are offering discounts. |
