Here is a BEFORE shot of one of my airheads.

I shitcanned the Lufty fairing couldn't even give it away, and I tried)

and reduced it to this, all of which is going to be powdercoated black (except tank and fenders) or Garnet Red - I am having a tough time deciding.

Here is her heart hanging by some threads.


There is something inherantly attractive about a motor in free space like that.

I suppose the R60 would look nicer if I worked on it more and rode it less, but damn it, bikes are for riding.

They all look good until you rip them apart.

Hey, the K75 IS old skool. Ever seen that Jetronic airflow meter apart before? Looks like a lie detector.

this was built from a rolling basket case. I have done the paint in a non-stock color with the R90s scheme. Also added stainless pipes and Supertrapp mufflers. Also designed a solo seat and added the colors of the German flag on the edge. It's fun, but sits now that I have a GS. Connecticut old bike plates read EA motorcycle assuming that any old bike in a Harley or Indian..Duh. I changed the lettering to read Early Bavarian.. John Shuck Iron Butt #31

In a moment of madness, I bought this venerable R80GS...



...because it was so cheap. It's currently being looked after for me by Mike Belch, a UKGSer mate, whilst I'm travelling...
