Been reading your responses and I find the continued mention of your trip to the haul road funny, talk about a two fisted street cred grab:lol3
Big deal, I did the same trip on a Thumper wearing MX gear and I froze my fucking ass off the entire time... does that make me cool or do I need more?

Do you have anything to offer, other then attacking people with "They need to get a life" that would say that quiet pipes save lives ?

All chaps are assless or they would be pants.

Sing it to John Lennon's "Give peace a chance"

Fixed it for you. This is advrider after all.

These type of responses from Dakez are what I would consider "utterly fifth grade and pathetic".

Dakez, is that all you have to offer your own thread. Altering other peoples responses, in the hopes to incite an argument or negativity.

Just making the point I didn't join this forum, just to argue with Dakez.:lol3

Also making the point, that cruisers, actually baggers, and pirates ride.

A Pirates Journey to the Arctic Circle, was the working title of my journal.

Obviously you haven't been following this thread very long.

Loud pipes don't save lives, quite pipes don't save lives. Exhaust systems are not safety devices. Noise is just noise.

Want to be safe? Try riding within your skill level and practicing these skills used by professional drivers.

    Aim High In Steering,
    Get The Big Picture,
    Keep Your Eyes Moving,
    Leave Yourself An Out,
    Make Sure They See You,

As a professional driver, I have participated in countless driver safety classes, not once has making constant obnoxious noise been mentioned as a safety tool.

Any cognizant adult will see LPSL for what it is, a lame excuse for narcissistic behavior.

It's funny that you mention that, I have driven commercially since 1982, when the CDL A was just a Combination Lic. In the 29 years I have never had a ticket or accident. I have driven/operated almost everything, with the exception of triples.

I have seen it all and as of today, almost heard it all to boot.

As a professional you should know better, advocating LPSL for safety is like a doctor recommending treating cancer yourself with herbs.
