An engine change for Chelco has been mentioned a couple times, is it confirmed or speculation?

She's looking forward to a good night's sleep, you have been Dakar focused for two weeks and then tomorrow night you will notice for the first time since Jan 5th she exists

Let us all know the reaction apart from saying she is second choice to the Dakar, that is after your fingers are working again

As a reward, I have today's call from Lyndon. Thank whomever's wifi I'm jacking at the moment.

An upbeat Lyndon calls in on the Penultimate day of the rally. After his miraculous (and rally-saving) mechanical repair yesterday, he started well down the field today and had to contend with a lot of dust, passing 40 bikes and quads through the course of the stage. One day to go, and Lyndon knows it's not over until the finishers medal (which is satisfyingly heavy, as Ned Suesse informed us last year) is in his hand. Keep it steady, Lyndon, and thanks for the ride!

Can't tell from the penalties whether he has changed his engine - if not then why not?
It wasn't going to affect his overall but could have got him more stages?

There are pics posted a few pages back showing Chaleco's ike disassembled with another motor next to it..

Pyn sounds in good spirits, but it is just me or did he sound like he'd had enough riding?

Looking at the tracker, I notice a couple of things.

There are at least two riders not in yet, Croquelois & Botturi. Iirc, Botturi had an issue and is out of the edition.

There are a few others with missed waypoints, but are in the ASS, Bianchi & Bianchi Prata, Smith, De Groot, Martinez. I have not been following these riders, just noticing the gaps.
