My daughter has one of these and she says it is running kind of rough. I'm heading down there this weekend for X-mas and I told her I would look at it. She lives in ABQ, I figure it at least needs a plug and who knows what else. Anybody know what kind of plug it takes and what else I should look for.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I think it is a 4 stroke, she never mentioned mixing oil with the gas, I hope it is a 4 stroke. Since I've never owned a 2 stroke how can I tell them apart?

See if clouds of smoke pour out the back when it's running.

If so, then it's a two stroke.

Or your four-stroke motor is about to blow.

Does the engine sound more like a chainsaw (2-smoke), or more like a riding mower (4-stroke)?:D

I just got back from ABQ, it is a 2 stoke and I got it running. I had to tear down the carb to get it running but it is going for now.
