Anyone here repack a Leo and care to offer a noob advice?

I get that I'll have to drill out the Rivets but front or back or both? ( I have access to a rivet gun but if you know the size I'd need to buy to replace that would help. )

I have packing material....and will get some high temperature sealant.

And that sums up my knowledge going into the project. Sure would appreciate help...the Leo thread seems dead in the water, and you tube was little to no help in my initial search.

    TIA.

Do you mean X3? Haven't heard of an L3.
My X3 on my DRZ does not require any riveting to repack, and I'd be surprised if any of their exhausts do, as that is part of normal maintenance. The Leo Vince website has pdfs of repacking instructions.

    yea don't know why I typed L3.

there are no allen head bolts on mine so it's drill out time. I think the " instructions" are poorly written and reference the bolts that are not found on my unit. I am going to do what I always do and just start taking crap apart....usually the most fun anyway.

    what could possibly go wrong?:lol3
