:deal I am resurrecting the Rowher Flats Breakfast Klub, meeting weekdays at 9:00am and weekends.
Prior to the Buckweed fire and the closing of Rowher, I would meet with some guys and gals once a week at Rowher for a short ride. I usually beat the ranger to the staging area in the morning, so I would walk around and pick up trash, drink a cup of joe and BS with the ranger until it was time to ride. The closing of Rowher is what got me looking for other places to ride and running into U ADV FFs!

Join me and the rest of the breakfest klub weekday mornings, 8:30am first staging area, blue DRZ 400 or green KDX 200.
Check back to this first post for the next gathering of the Rowher Flats Breakfast Klub
NEXT RIDE DATE : 2/24 Sun.

Don't forget your "adventure pass" if your parking a cage at the staging area. If you don't have one, near the corner of sand cyn and sierra hwy is Bill's Place, a little market, they sell them.

***Something new for the RFBK, introducing " Afternoons with Purelick ". It's staying light out later and Purelick wants to ride after work. Same place, meeting time TBA.***

there are 2 routes to get to the noth end.

    EAST route........rowher trail.....black diamond
WEST route, parallel to bouquet, sierra pelona...easy to intermediate.

both routes eventually meet at the noth end of the park.

EDITED: EAST IS HARD, WEST IS INTERMEDIATE

Let me clarify things. The Rowher Breakfast Klub is not an organized ride, IT IS a morning weekday gathering of riders of all skill levels and what ever U brought to ride. Riders can breakout into small groups based upon route, returning back to the staging area, or U may head out to destinations like the rockinn or up on the saw mills. Most will stay in the park and build on skills, tune and adjust the bike or just tool around. Rowher offers some fire road(nOOb and big bike friendly), lots of fun trails for most skill levels and then those Steep Loose Rocky climbs and decends. It is totally up to you!
My personal routine is a short loop out to warm up, a quick once over the bike, then two or three tough (for me) loops up and over the hill, down to Bouqet Cyn and back, pack up and home by 2:00pm.

    Hey Rich,

Thanks for prepping those trails for us. It may be a week or two before I can get out there so maybe you can do a little more prep on Friday.

Here's the thing. That place has been closed since before I knew about it. So not only have I never been there, but I don't even know exactly where it's at. Is it possible to post GPS coordinates for the staging area or directions to get there? That will greatly increase my chance of being on time when I can finally make it.
