PHX - Wildcat Ride

We had 7 guys show up for the Wildcat ride today. Early start and early finish. 25 easy miles.

I got stuck at the top of this hill and sabotaged everyone behind me. EsconDeasy was first in line.

The guys followed me through some big boulders, which turned out much easier than it looked. Coming down the other side was a different story...

This helicopter was circling the staging area when we returned to the trucks.



25 miles, mostly singletrack.



There were hills, but they were short.

The most important part of the ride...the after feast!!!

But by the time I got to Nevada I wasn't feelin' so good. I had the most gut-wrenching, bone-shaking violent vomit session in the Lowe's bathroom followed by a sleepless night of sweats and liquid shits.

But, feeling better this morning and met up with the fellow from San Fran who took ownership of my '93 DR and trailer after some drama concerning 1 7/8" hitch balls and 3/4" shanks. Thank goodness there was a Home Depot nearby.

It was probably the salad that made you sick......

Looks like I missed a good ride. I would have come for the eats but after hearing what happened to Rett , I am glad I missed it. I guess the food was worse then the uphill!

I didn't get sick from Earl's. I felt fine. That's what eating healthy gets you!!
