Seat is a Denfeld original, for passenger that is mounted on a rack. I haven't mounted yet, is only a mock up I did for the pic.

I have been asking around the guys in Boxerschmiede and BMWbayer and since welding on a frame makes it harder to get the TUV in Germany, what they do is drill the frame (under the tank portion) using some parts of the seat bracket.

So, in other words, I still have to figure it out...:(:

"Our first project is this BMW. The main idea was to get a comfortable riding bike with a cool look trying not to spend a lot of money (that’s what i call “Low Cost Custom”) so we go for Scrambler style with a high handlebar, solo seat and off-road tyres…After 3 months, that’s the result. The first Fuel Motorcycle. The BMW R 100 “Scram”. Hope you like!"

    this is a R67/2

    The original scrambler..?

    from Bonhams...
"BMW factory records show that this motorcycle was completed on 28th May 1953 as an R67/2 model and sent to the Test Department to be prepared for that year's International Six Days Trial (ISDT) held in Czechoslovakia. West Germany's five-man Trophy Team was made up of two Maico riders (U Pohl and K L Westphal) and three entered on 594cc BMWs (G Meier, H Roth and W Zeller). Of the BMW riders, Hans Roth and Georg Meier (winner of the 1939 Isle of Man Senior TT for BMW) won FIM Gold Medals while the unfortunate Walter Zeller suffered a broken transmission bevel box – a previously unheard of failure – and was forced to retire. West Germany's Trophy Team finished the competition in 3rd place behind victorious Great Britain and runners-up Czechoslovakia. "
