Last year the ROAR mob camped here and the Vics found a spot by the river opposite the Tennis Courts which is the designated 'quiet' campground.

Here is fine, or more atmosphere down on the river. Only a pit toilet, or random trees here outside, but inside loo is available. No showers at the FF campgrounds, just public toilets augmented with a few portaloos. Shower here though, or hose outside, whatever.

    Up to you blokes.

Yeah, it didn't correspond to anything we did. I can only remember one down hill after we broke camp.

Was thinking of you and the missus if it's a few more than the half dozen of last year.

Then there is the issue of walking with potenially damaged footwear from the hall to your place.

And you will be a busy boy anyway.

unless someone fits a stereo to one of the bikes I don't see us being noisy.

And I still have one of the kids cars here so that's available for commuting if you want.

It all makes no difference to me, so its your call. You could always try a night at each location.

    And girls. :D

Near the river seems to be the designated Vic's area, so I guess that we will go there if that is okay and there is still room left. :kumbaya

I thought these days 'blokes' was an all inclusive term.

    Whatever, blokes and blokettes then?

Trace & Pete, we have decided not to go to Numeralla. Instead we are exploring more of east & west of the Grampians. Did some dirt riding on weekend up at rocklands my little XJ handle the gravel, sand and shit terrain like a charm except the gravel that was like bloody ball bearings. I did enjoy it. i was only going 48 -50 kms sometimes 70kms. I just need to learn how do stop if I have to reduce spead quick. I need lessons. any tips?

    Cheers Mrlene & Stan

There's this big block of ground between here and there that no one is allowed to use.

No avoiding the bitcher man (unless we go somewhere else) and, time is an issue given the late departure.

    so, gra'

    :fyyff

    predictable, really.
