A cancer victim needs a bike to ride as a last wish...Louisiana

Finding Mike a Ride....

I am trying to find a bike ASAP quick for a friend... we are putting a travel package together....

The Docs gave him an estimated 6 months to live after exhaustive attempts to treat his cancer failed. He lives in Slidell Louisiana, he would like to ride to Florida and to California to see his dad if he can make it that far.

We are trying to find a Honda 650 shadow or something similar (He is 5' 10" 120 lbs.) something around $2500.

I scored a 2003 Honda 750 ACE Shadow for $2500 19 k miles with 2 new tires (i will change them) from a local fellow. He even accepted our paypal money and accepted his $75 paypal fees as a donation to our cause.... I will have some pics tomorrow! If we have extra money we can prepay for insurance and give Mike some gas money...

Jason will also be working on the bike funding tonight.

Hello from a neighbor near Covington. I don't have a bike to offer but a little grease for the wheel I can. I will donate some to PP this weekend. Right now I'm busted from taxes. If Micheal wears an XL helmet I would offer him one.

I have a one piece Areostish Road Crafter Hi Viz size 40 he can have if he wants it. I'm 5' 10" tall and way 160lb. It's been used one season and been sitting in closet for a couple of years. I couldn't think of a better use four it. PM me if your interested, I can get in the mail ASAP.

I'm 5'11" and 260lbs, so I can't offer any clothing, but I did send you 30 (call it 25 and change, wanted to cover the fees). I know its not much, but I hope it can fill the tank or the belly twice, and help with the trip. God bless you for being a good friend to him.

I've lost a few close friends/family members to cancer, and really wish I could have done this for him.
