You are correct, Sir! You must know the area.
Interesting solution you came up with. I will look into it. I'm ordering up some 17's for it after the first of the year. It will be interesting to see how braking is affected. I would just like to know I could stop in a reasonable distance when a deer jumps out in front of me.

The extra 9 miles down to peninsula campground is a hoot too. Cheers!

what do 2 discs do the one doesn't?
In my experience 1 disc can lock the front just as fast as 2. I had 2 discs on my 950ADV and one disc on my SE and can't discern a difference in my ability to stop the bike. I do recall 2 discs is more grabby than one which I don't like.

It sounds like it's not worth the trouble anymore. Oh well, maybe my next epiphany will be more realistic.
Thanks everyone for your input. I think I'm going to get the SM kit from ktm twins, it comes with the better brakes anyway. |

That's a great looking kit!
Shouldn't have any brake troubles after that.

The black adjuster knob just pulls off the end. Adjusted the screw in further and loc-tited it. FANTASTIC!!!! Finally have the feel at the lever that I have been searching for!
