Oh Yea......I just got home from the dealer with my shiny new 2013 R1200GS-Adventure. 3 miles on the clock when I rode it out the door of the show room.

    Yea I know.....No picture = no bike

Here's the deal.....I could get into a long drawn out fight with smugmug trying to figure out how to post a picture or I could go out and ride. Take a guess what I'm doing?

Pictures tonight after I slather some mud on the thing.

What color is it, and most importantly - what oil are you going to use?

Mine is just shy of 2 months old, triple black 90th. Wife and I were on vacation in Hawaii and she knew I was thinking about it. She tells me one day, just call the dealer and put a deposit on it, then u can focus on vacation and having fun. Best wife ever!!!! :clap

I won't be able to figure out what oil to run till I determine what tire pressure to use in my rear tire.

As for the color, its the Sapphire Black Metallic 90th Anniversary bike.

Now I just need to figure out how to point this thing to a smug mug photo.

3 miles on the clock with the take off tires strapped down for the ride home.

Parked at Battleground Lake for a photo op.

On the showroom floor waiting for its first ride. These things look so much better with TKC80's on em.

The old ride looking lonely in the parking lot headed in for service.

Another 150 on the clock this morning. It was kind of a hazy day looking down on the Columbia River from Old German Town Road. I'll see if I can get a better picture of the Columbia on this afternoons break in ride. 41% to my way to the 600 mile service. I'm trying to get the bike in for a service early next week so I can try and make the Touratech Rally on 27th.

I am wiping the sweat from my brow. I thought you meant the "garage" as in the repair shop! I been busy riding more than snapping myself. Can't wait to see the pics.

What do you currently love and hate about it? I wonder if those things will change as the miles wear on.

350 on the clock tonight. This picture was taken at the Stabler put in for the Wind River just north of Carson Washington. A very sweet IV+ V- white water run.

I'm probably closer down the road to Ochards than you think. I'm a card carrying Washougalian. Just off of Washougal River Road. For those of you who have been to the track.

    Things I hate
1-The seat. It keeps sliding Mr. Happy and the Boys in the direction of the tank.
2-The high foot pegs. Combined with the low seat the knee angle is killing me.
3-The position of the handle bars. With the high pegs and the low bars I can't ride with confidence standing up.
4-Why isn't there a accessory socket or two on the dash somewhere?

    Things I love
    1-The Power
    2-The nimble handling.

    Things I will love
1-The Russell Day Long that I should get on Wednesday. I wish the Russel off my 1150GS-Adventure fit. I'm good friends with that seat.
2-The soon to be low modified Pivot Pegz I should get by Thrusday
3-The Rox Riser I should get on Thursday also.
4-The 3 additional power sockets I plan on installing.
