Don't forget the KRR 8th 9th and 10th February 2013. I missed last year, don't want that to happen again. My computer died a couple of months ago, and good old muggins didn't back up the PST file. Hunsta and Rick if you could kindly make contact so we can plan. www.bmwtcnsw.org/club/wp-content/uploads...h-Watermark-2013.pdf Cheers rob A.
Moonan Flats on Friday night, Karuah River on Sat? Might make an attempt for this next year, depends on rostering last time [three years ago], was a first class walk in the rain, hitching a ride home Cheers Baza
Oh no , the KRR threads up , looks like the rain is about to arrive and hang around for another 3 months .
As I sit here in the pissing rain in Coromandel, I'm beginging to get homesick. may as well be there as well, same shit. Probably see you at Moonan Flat
We'll do ya a deal Chris , you stay in the land of the long black cloud and keep the rain there , and we'll tell you how good a time we had at the KRR without a drop of rain .
Stop whinging you buggers. It would not be a KRR without an almighty storm on arrival at the Dungog pub and a bit of hail on arrival at Frying pan creek. I don't worry about it any more, it is simply part of the mystique. I remember arriving one year and down come the hail, only small stuff but boy it wacked in me in back hard. After it was over I raced over to the tent to talk to Ray Peake and overheard a kid say "did you see that idiot over there protecting his tank from the hail. Silly young player of course, every one knows an aluminium tank needs protection from hail. Be there or be square, I can't wait. Cheers Rob A
Did Moonan Flat one year, over the 'Tops', got soaked & said 'f### it', :huh after a detour via Nabiac to see a friend who wasn't at home, got back to Bulladealah, everything soaked - water running out of the helmet [left vents open!] Swore lots & headed home via a warm motel @ Raymond Terrace that night, yep woost out for sure I've tougher now so next year for sure, can't let all the BM riders have the fun! Cheers Baza
A little early, but put new rubber on the front yesterday. Yes Ill be heading down as well as Rick. Dont know which way we`re going yet, but I wont be leaving til Friday lunch and then having Monday off. And as for the rain. Bring it on. We aint seen good wet stuff up this way for months. Im sick of fighting fires.
Craig, Friday lunch aye. I was hoping to at least make Moonan Flats Friday night, that would be a bit of a push from Midday leaving from where you are. I will also take Monday off for a more liesurely ride home. Cheers Rob A.
Was nt too bad HG. About 400mm. Was flowing aa bit but not as strong as it seemed. Robert, I dont do Moonan anymore. Lunchtime departure friday gets me about halfway. Then Dungog about 1pm
