EvanADV, Put me down for "SIX" tools and 1 set of adapters. The amount of adapters may change as i get back to all that i'm ordering for. Thanks for taking on this monumental task. Will monitor the thread and PP you the funds whenever necessary Jim
And here's a good pic from the other thread of the tool being used: [/QUOTE] That above is an 18"BMW R80 G/S rear wheel, the tool doesn't fit the center very nicely I need to make a nylon adapter for it, but it does work. Works great on the R100GS rim.
Count me in for one basic to go to Australia if possible. (If it's too expensive to ship outside the US or change the shipping for the bulk discount, I can arrange one to be picked up for me from Tucson Arizona) Please let me know the cost for the shipping. Paypal at the ready...
I want the basic tool,15mm,17mm and short pusher. Let me know and when (pay pal or check) to pay. Thanks for doing this. Blairbear
You'll be better off having it picked up in AZ. The shipping from EvanADV to Oz will negate any benefit from the group buy. We had a couple guys from Australia buy them in the first go around, both of them had an addy in CA to ship to. And FWIW, the USPS shipping from Florida to Canada went up more than 50% the first of the year. In March of this year it was costing an average of $40 for a tool without any adapters. In the first group buy (last fall), it was $26 or something like that.
Yes, after installing three tires with spoons, count me in for one. Can do paypal, USPSMO advise Thanks SA
I want the pro setup along with the 15mm and 17mm axle sleeve for $14 each the pro setup for $465. That setup should work on street bikes too? Let me know if I am wrong.
Thanks for that Piney. I'll encourage anyone who can to ship inside US. International shipping always seems to be an expensive fiasco.
I guess it'd depend on your definition of a street bike. I know people have used on GS wheels, which is unarguably a street bike, but I htink it will depend greatly on the sidewall/bead construction of the tire you're trying it on.
I have a KTM 500 that I know this will work well changing tires, I also own a BMW and GSA. I am hoping that it will work changing tires on my GSA. If anyone on this forum knows let me know before I shell out the $465. th
Please add me to the list, Basic Tool, 15mm and 17mm axle adapter. Just need payment info when you're ready! Thank you, Michael
Please count me in too. I will have the "$350 Beginner stand/tool combo with 1 locking pusher". Thank you for your time and effort working on this group order
